Are there any risks with transferring my portfolio?
The transfer process does not put your assets at risk, but once the transfer starts, you won’t be able to buy, sell, or manage your investments until it finishes. This means that you will still be exposed to the market price movements during this time. Depending on your provider, this can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks.
Can I transfer my existing stocks, or do I have to sell them and transfer as cash?
You can transfer your existing stocks, meaning you don't have to sell your investments to move them to Trading 212.
Can I process a transfer from my Invest account?
Yes, you can transfer directly from your Invest account, but only in-specie (stock-for-stock). This means your shares or ETFs move to the new provider without being sold or repurchased.
How can I adjust the average price for portfolio transfers?
If you want to adjust the average price of stocks you transferred from another broker, you can do so directly in the app.
- Go to Menu, then Portfolio transfers

- Go to Assets
- Select the position and click on the edit button
- Insert the price and click Save
📄 Note
