You can manually take out funds from your pie at any time you like. 👌
1. Go to your pie's 'Overview' screen
2. Tap on the 'Invest / Withdraw funds' button:
3. On the Invest / Withdraw screen switch to the 'Withdraw' tab. 📲
4. Use the slider to specify the exact amount of funds you want to withdraw. Below the slider, you'll see a preview of how much of each investment will be sold:
Note that for manually bought shares in Pies, the result upon selling is calculated based on the whole position's average price - visible in the "Investments" tab. This can also include shares outside of a Pie.
Fund distribution options
You can choose between different methods of fund distribution. Tap on the arrow next to the 'Fund distribution' label to bring up the options screen:
By targets - will sell investments according to the pie's targets.
Self-balancing - will try to equalize your pie's actual values to their corresponding targets by selling more from overweight slices and less from underweight slices.
Custom - you will be able to select exactly how much of each investment you would like to sell. All slices in your pie will be listed and each will be paired to a slider:
After making your selection, tap on ‘Confirm Sell’ to send the necessary orders to the exchanges. You will receive a notification once the investing process is completed. If the markets are currently open, the process should take only a few seconds.
Note: Whenever you are withdrawing funds, the free cash in your pie will always be prioritized over selling securities.
