Below you will find the list of documents we can accept as valid Proof of Address, depending on the entity you are registered under. The document format can be either a PDF file downloaded directly from the relevant institution or received as an official letter. 📄
Documents acceptable for clients registered under Trading 212 UK Ltd.
- Bank statement
- Bank certificate
- Statement of fees
- Utility bill (water, gas, electricity, heating)
- Landline phone bill, Broadband bill or TV bill
- Council tax bill or tax reminder/exemption letters
- Some forms of governmental correspondence (examples include income tax bills, some letters from HMRC, etc.)
- Your ID card, residence permit or driver’s license containing your address (Only acceptable if it has not already been used for ID verification)
- Address registration certificate (issued up to 1 year ago)

Specific requirements for Non-EEA residents
Most proof of address documents must be dated within the last three months (with a few exceptions, such as council tax bills).
Bank statements or utility bills must be no older than three months and must be either issued in a branch of the bank, delivered as a paper letter or downloaded in a PDF format from your online banking. We might need some form of activity to be present on the document.
Note: Specific requirements may apply for Non-EEA residents based on which country you reside in.
