Your Trading 212 Markets Ltd. Crypto account now supports both EUR and USD wallets.
đź“„ Note
As of 30 April 2026, USD deposits and currency conversions are available for Trading 212 Markets Ltd. Crypto accounts. Crypto trading in USD will be available soon.
How do I trade with multiple currencies?
Each crypto-asset on Trading 212 trades in a single currency - either EUR or USD. When you buy a crypto asset, you’ll need to have funds available in the wallet that matches the instrument’s trading currency.
- To buy a USD-denominated crypto- asset, funds will be taken from your USD wallet.
- To buy a EUR-denominated crypto- asset, funds will be taken from your EUR wallet.
đź“„ Note
Cryptos are held separately per currency. For example, if you buy 1 BTC with EUR and 2 BTC with USD, these will be shown as two separate crypto assets (BTC/EUR and BTC/USD), not a combined total of 3 BTC. You can only sell a crypto asset in the same currency it was originally purchased in.
If you don’t have sufficient funds in the required wallet, you’ll need to either deposit directly in that currency or convert already available funds from your other wallet first.
In your account and history, EUR and USD instruments are displayed in separate rows, so you can easily track your exposure in each currency.
đź“„ Note
- Currency conversion does not happen automatically at the point of placing a trade. You’ll need to ensure the correct wallet is funded before trading.
- Your existing EUR Crypto assets and balances are not affected by this change.
How do I move cash between currencies?
You can move cash between your EUR and USD wallets at any time through the Manage Funds section. Select Convert, choose the amount, and confirm.
đź“„ Note
A 0,15% FX fee applies when converting between currencies.
How do deposits and withdrawals work?
You can deposit funds directly into either your EUR or USD wallet. When making a deposit, simply select the currency you’d like to fund.
Withdrawals work the same way - you can withdraw from either wallet independently, in the currency of that wallet.
