SIPP accounts are now live and are being gradually rolled out to clients on the waitlist. Eligible UK-resident clients of Trading 212 UK Ltd will be notified when access becomes available to them.
If you've recently opened your SIPP, you have a 30-day cancellation period. This period begins from the day that you have successfully funded your SIPP account.
What happens if you cancel within the 30-day period?
- We will sell any investments to cash.
- We will not refund any applicable charges.
- You may receive less than your initial contribution if the market value of your investments has fallen.
- If your investments made a profit during this period, it will be retained by Trading 212.
- HMRC will cancel and recover any tax relief.
What are my SIPP Transfer Cancellation Rights?
You have the option to cancel your pension transfer within 30 days from the date we received the transfer payment from your previous pension provider.
What happens after you request a cancellation?
We will check if your request was made within the 30-day period and reach out to your previous provider to confirm if they can accept the return of your pension.
