SIPP accounts are currently offered on a Beta basis and are available only to a limited number of users for testing purposes. During this period, features, functionality, and availability may be subject to change or withdrawal without notice.
We will announce when SIPP accounts become available to eligible UK-resident clients of Trading 212 UK Ltd.
When you open your Trading 212 SIPP, you will be shown a selection of ready-made Pies to help you get started. You can choose one of these, explore other options, or skip and invest in your own time.
Your Trading 212 SIPP gives you access to thousands of stocks and ETFs listed across major global exchanges.
Your investments grow free from UK capital gains tax and UK income tax while they remain inside your SIPP, making it a tax-efficient way to build your retirement savings.
đź“„ Note
When you invest, your capital is at risk and you may get back less than you invest. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
What is a Pie?
A Pie is a portfolio made up of a mix of stocks and ETFs. You can use a ready-made Pie built by an asset manager, or create your own from scratch. Once set up, you can choose to invest into your Pie automatically on a regular schedule, or make one-off contributions whenever you like.
You will be shown the following ready-made Pies:
- Vanguard Global
- BlackRock Core
- WisdomTree Core
Vanguard Global is shown as the default option. We have selected Vanguard Global for this as it is a broadly diversified, low-cost product. This is not a personal recommendation, and whether it is right for you will depend on your own circumstances and goals.
Can I change things later?
Yes, absolutely. You can switch Pies, create new ones, pause or stop investing at any time, or simply buy individual stocks and ETFs directly from your SIPP cash balance. You are always in full control of how your money is invested.
đź“„ Note
Ready-made Pies do not constitute financial advice or a personal recommendation. If you are unsure which investment option is right for you, we recommend consulting MoneyHelper for a free Pension Wise appointment or seeking professional financial advice.
