What are the NOBO/OBO statuses?
If you are a Non-Objecting Beneficial Owner (NOBO), we’re allowed to share your personal information with US companies you hold shares with. They can then provide you with financial information, such as financial reports directly.
The Objecting Beneficial Owner (OBO) status denies the brokers the right to share information with these companies, which prevents direct communication.
Will the status I chose affect my position or voting power?
No. Regardless of your status, you can participate in all voting events you are eligible for.
How can I change my voting status?
The default status is NOBO. You can change it immediately:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Privacy & Security.
3. Beneficial owner status.
Which instruments is the status relevant for?
The status is only relevant for US securities, including their European listings.
