Who is the referral/referred client?
This is the person who uses the link to open an account.
Who is the referrer?
This is the person who shares the link so that their friend can open an account.
What are the requirements to qualify for a reward?
To be eligible to participate in the Programme as a Referrer, and receive a Reward, you must:
- Reside in an Eligible Country;
- Hold an active Trading 212 Invest account;
- Receive a valid Referral Link or Referral ID directly from Trading 212 to participate; and
- Share the Referral Link or Referral ID during the Programme Period.
To be eligible to participate in the Programme, and receive a Reward as a Referral/Referred Client, you must:
- Reside in an Eligible Country;
- Be a new client who has never held a Trading 212 Invest account, and successfully complete all onboarding and verification requirements.
- During the Programme Period, either:
- Open an Invest Account using a valid Referral Link via the Trading 212 website or app; or
- Enter the Referral ID during account setup or within the allowed promotional period via the website or app;
- Deposit at least the Minimum Amount into your Invest account; and
- Activate your Trading 212 Card and make at least 3 purchases (online or in-store) of at least £5 / €5 each within 10 days of opening your account. Transactions must be made at eligible merchants.
Can I check where my friend is in the process?
You will be able to monitor your friend's progress if they are in your phone contacts and you synced them through the 'Get a reward' dashboard. You will not be able to monitor your friend's progress if they are not in your phone contacts.
Can I transfer the reward to another account?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to bypass the lock-up period when moving funds between your accounts. This includes the scenario where you wish to transfer the reward to another account. In such cases, you will need to wait for a period of 30 days for the funds to be released and available for transfer.
Where do I see the rewards that I received?
You can view them in your portfolio -> Account value and Main pot . If you wish to check the received value, you can reach the ‘History’ of your account. The reward is shown as Deposit.
Can I invest the funds from the reward?
You can use the funds from the reward to invest right away.
