You can now ask AI Chat about what has happened in your account - your orders, dividends received, interest earned, deposits and withdrawals, card spending, and cashback. AI Chat is designed to pull this information directly from your account records, so the figures shown should match what you'd see on your History screen or in your account statements. Your official account statements always remain the definitive record - if anything looks different, please contact us, and we’ll look into it.

Which accounts are supported?
Account history questions are available for your Invest, ISA (UK), and SIPP (UK) accounts.
📄 Note
AI Chat cannot answer account history questions for CFD or crypto activity yet. It also can't provide a live cash balance - for that, please check the app.
What can I ask about?
You can ask AI Chat about the following areas of your account activity:
- Orders - what you bought or sold, how many shares, at what price, and any fees (including FX conversion fees and stamp duty, where applicable). You can ask about a specific instrument, a specific period, or just your most recent orders.
- Dividends received - payouts per instrument or across your whole portfolio, showing gross, tax withheld, and net figures.
- Interest on uninvested cash - total interest earned over a period, with gross, tax withheld, and net figures.
- Deposits and withdrawals - individual funding events plus totals for the period.
- Card spending - your card transactions and total spend per period.
- Cashback - total cashback received over a period.
Example questions you can ask
Here are some examples to give you a feel for how to phrase your questions:
- "What did I buy last week?"
- "Show my recent trades in $AAPL."
- "How much dividend income have I received this year?"
- "How much has Apple paid me in dividends overall?"
- "How much interest have I earned this year?"
- "How much have I deposited overall?"
- "Where did my card spending go last month?"
- "Show me my highest card expenses from last month."
- "How much cashback did I get last month?"

You can specify the period yourself (for example, "this year", "last month", or "since I joined").
What should I keep in mind?
A few things to be aware of when using AI Chat for account history questions:
- Figures are shown in your account currency. AI Chat does not convert amounts between currencies. Transactions are shown in the same currency as displayed in the History tab.
- No tax advice or component breakdowns. Tax figures are shown as recorded - gross, tax withheld, and net - as labelled totals. AI Chat can not calculate your local tax allowances (ISA allowance in the UK / Freistellungsauftrag in Germany) or provide a tax statement.

What is AI Chat not able to answer yet?
Some questions are outside the current scope of AI Chat's account history features:
- CFD and crypto history - not available in the current version.
- Filtering card spending by a specific merchant (for example, "how much did I spend at Lidl?") - not supported yet; you can still filter by merchant category.
- Cash balance and card-tab-specific views - please check the app for these.
