The Lifetime Allowance (LTA), which previously limited the total amount you could build up in pensions over your lifetime before an extra tax charge applied, was abolished on 6 April 2024.
It has been replaced by the Lump Sum Allowance (LSA) and the Lump Sum and Death Benefit Allowance (LSDBA).
