The minimum value of a Buy or Sell order for Invest/ISA accounts is 1 EUR/GBP or their currency equivalent. With respect to this rule, if your Buy order is of a lower value, you will receive a pop-up notification stating that the value of your order is too small.
Selling a position worth less than 1 EUR/GBP.
On some occasions, you may end up holding shares worth less than 1 EUR/GBP following a corporate action or changes in market price. In these cases, you will still be able to place a Sell order for the total amount of your position.
My Sell order is more than 1 EUR/GBP, but I cannot place it.
If the remaining position value of the financial instrument is less than 1 EUR/GBP when placing a Sell order, a pop-up notification will appear, giving you the option to sell either a portion of your position or your entire investment.
For example, if you try to sell 9.9 GBP worth of your ABC share, which is worth 10 GBP, the platform will not allow it because you would be left with only 0.1 GBP worth of shares. Since this is less than the minimum value, you can either sell the entire position or sell an amount equal to or less than 9 GBP.
