You and your friends can both receive free bonus shares by participating in our "Invite a Friend" campaign. Here's how to get involved if you have an active Trading 212 AU Invest account: 👇
- Go to the ☰ Menu tab in your account.
- Select Get bonus shares, then Invite friends.
- Tap Share link to share your referral link.
Alternatively, select Invite contacts, allow access to your contacts and start sending invites.
Who can take part?
To invite friends, you must:
- Live in Australia.
- Have an active Trading 212 AU Invest account.
- Have received a valid Referral Link or Referral ID. These are issued on a limited basis.
Your friend must:
- Live in Australia.
- Be a new client who has never opened or held an Invest account with any Trading 212 Group entity.
- Use your Referral Link when opening their Invest account or enter your Referral ID when prompted after opening it.
- Complete onboarding and verification.
- Deposit at least the Minimum Amount.
- Invest at least AUD 100 within 10 calendar days of opening the account.
- Not have received a bonus or reward from any previous Trading 212 promotion.
When will we get our bonus shares?
Within 3 business days after all campaign requirements are met.
What is the time limit to meet the requirements?
No later than 10 calendar days after the account is opened.
How long does the campaign run?
From 27/08/2026, 00:00 AEST to 15/09/2026, 23:59 AEST. Referral Links and Referral IDs are only active during this period. You can also check the deadline under ☰ Menu > Get bonus shares > Time left.
What bonus shares will we receive?
You and your friend will receive randomly selected bonus shares worth between AUD 20 and AUD 200. A bonus share may be fractional, and higher-value shares are less common. In rare cases, the cash equivalent may be credited instead.
How many bonus shares can I receive?
You can receive up to 5 rewards per campaign. You may keep sharing your link after that, but only eligible referred friends will receive a reward. Check your rewards under the Rewards menu.
When can I sell my shares and withdraw their value?
You can sell bonus shares immediately, but their cash value or sale proceeds cannot be withdrawn for 30 days from allocation. Selling does not end the lock-up.
After selling, check the expiry date under ☰ Menu > Manage Funds > Withdraw Funds. Learn more about the lock-up period.
Can I lose money?
The bonus share is free, but its value can rise or fall. Any investment made to meet the campaign requirements uses your own money and is subject to market risk.
Can I combine this campaign with a promo code?
No. This campaign cannot be used together with a promo link or promo code from another promotion.
If I am eligible for a Reward Share, what will be the value of the free share I will get?
The value of the bonus shares you receive under this campaign is selected randomly. Here is the probability:
