If your card has been lost, broken, or stolen and is no longer active before its expiry date, you can request its removal by contacting us. For security and anti-money laundering reasons, we will require the following information:
The identity document should be readable without any blur.
To request the removal of a card from your Trading 212 account, please provide a bank statement in one of the following valid formats:
- A clear photo of a bank-issued statement that includes a visible stamp from the branch. Ensure that the entire page, including all four edges, is visible in the photo.
- A PDF document downloaded from your online banking platform.
The bank statement you submit should include the following details:
- Your full name.
- Your bank account details.
- Transactions made towards Trading 212 using the card you wish to remove.
Please note that self-expired cards, those that have reached their expiry date, are automatically removed from your account without requiring any removal requests. However, for Apple Pay and Google Pay, since we are unable to see the actual expiry date, a card removal request is necessary.
Note: After submitting the required documents, your card will be removed within 48 hours.
