We were informed of a minor obstacle between TSB and our FCA-approved partner Truelayer.
What causes this?
On rare occasions, the bank and our partner will not exchange a confirmation for the completed transfer. Due to this, your OpenBanking request will expire, and your money will be sent as a Bank wire transfer.
What happens to my funds?
If your deposit gets sent, we will add it as soon as it arrives.
What is Trading 212 doing about it?
We’re already exploring ways to improve the OpenBanking flow while the two parties resolve the obstacle.
Due to the scalability of TSB clients and Instant bank transfers, we decided not to disable the OpenBanking option. We continue to monitor the resolution’s progress, and we may undertake further changes.
